Maybe you know Theo Von — he's a comedian and podcast host, known for his viral interviews with celebrities such as Ed Sheeran, Pete Davidson, and Donald Trump.

Well, this weekend, he went viral for an interview on ESPN's College GameDay.

ESPN reporter Jess Sims was ending a segment with Theo, who was a guest picker on the program.

Jess said, "The guys are ready for your second round of picks so go ahead. Right up there."

"Oh, I'm already going?" Theo asked. "Will I ever see you again?"

"Oh, I hope not!" Jess said, shooing him off. Theo replied, "Aww," and walked off stage.

Viewers were left with second-hand embarrassment.

"'I hope not' damn girl, tell him how you really feel," one person wrote. Another commented on how she shut Theo down with "no hesitation. I'm sure she didn't even mean to say I hope not like that but sometimes we be saying how we really feel without second thought and quickly at that."

Someone else said, "Damn, I was expecting a polite swerve, but she was clear! Yikes." While another shared, "She just spoke her truth and I support it !"

"Good for her. 👏👏👏" a fifth fan said, as one more called Jess' reaction the "greatest response ever."

Theo later reacted to the moment on X — and from the looks of it, it seems he has no regrets about shooting his shot. "Shooters shoot," he wrote alongside a shrug emoji.
